Being able to hook up my ROG Ally to a tv and play it like a console or use it as a desktop PC is great. If you get an ally definitely pick this charger dock up too it makes it into a legit PC version of the Switch
Rasper –
an excellent charger and connection router. there are many third party options for these needs, but the official asus rog choice is by far the best. it’s simple and effective.
JacobS –
Good and functional charger/dock. Not flashy like other docks out there. Easy to travel with or set up on home displays. Only wish it had another usb port or two.
GODS3NT –
It works as stated but its a very bad design. I dont know if they wanted to avoid creating a “dock” or maybe just didnt want more than one wire extending from the brick but this is a last resort purchase because id another brand or even off brand makes a dock or bring with enough power, choose it! — the wires are consistently in the way, especially worse when using outside a designated area.
Disco –
Best plug/dock on the market hands down. Love it. Great cable and solid premium construction.
Headphoneguy –
Really good but competition exists now there are far lower cost items that you can gamble on , or keep rig items known for quality at a price
AnthonyLee –
Good size for tight spaces to plug. Actually works like a charm. My Rog ally charges very well and the display is crisp on both tv and monitor.
mauro1991 –
I tested and works great plus you can add TV via HDMI a controller to play with the ROG ALLY. Love It.
SherriW –
Best thing ever. Really love the size. Easy to use
Ching684 –
You will need this if you want to hook up the ally to a monitor and controller cause the ROG doesn’t have hdmi and charging in g port built in to make those connections work.
DonovanN –
Works as intended play my games to the tv and charges
RunningKilla –
Works perfect with my ROG Ally. Charges and connects unit to TV for full screen gaming.
JordanH –
Works great with no complaints so far. There are cheaper docks available, many that have more usb ports or even sd card readers, so im not sure the value of this one is really there, but ive enjoyed using it.
FelixV –
It’s a charger and an HDMI for stream on TV. Nice quality good item recommended
Brandon –
Does exactly what I need it to. Wish it had more than 1 USB, but it works with a splitter.
MichaelB –
Great accessory with a very minimal installation time.
OscarT –
Good for what it is, but nowhere to actually dock the device.
ErickR –
Good, I think the only issue is when you already play a long time the charger feels hot but still working so it’s cool
PyrEnd –
It worked like a charm, I got an open box Rog Ally and it came without the charger, so this was able to provide the 65W that the Rog Ally needs in order to perform at turbo speed 30W. I would recommend this product, it feels like a high quality product.
MatthewR –
It works with the ROG ally but it’s quirky but that’s prolly more of a fault of the Ally than this. It doesn’t register a screen size change from the Ally to a TV well especially if you’re in game. You have to go alt-tab to desktop and then reenter the game.
Does what it’s supposed to do though and it’s pretty easy to manage otherwise.
Rmdg –
Excellent product easy to use. And you can still used in the different gudget
SiphonicMonkey –
Got one for my asus rog ally and loved it, so i purchased two more. One for office and one for home office.
Chicago –
Highly recommend but doesnt come with cord ………
KennethL –
The charger in this is a braided cable and feels very sturdy and the dock itself is sturdy and doesnt feel hollow or cheap definitely worth the price even if you just use it as a charger
Mike –
Got this for mobility and the option for usb dongle and hdmi output. Works well, but if you’re looking for a more complete solution i would recommend getting a 100w chargerdocking solution that provides a more robust selection for about the same money.
Rob86 –
Great charger for the asus rog ally. This awesome charger can also be used to connect to a external monitor/tv and docking station. I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase a d strongly recommd it to anyone looking for an additional charger for the Rog Ally!!!
ShaneW –
Tried using this with the ROG Ally and it was awful. Thought it might’ve been defective so I exchanged it for another. Same experience. It could barely handle a wireless keyboard and mouse. The connection would cut out constantly and eventually the hdmi output to the TV wouldn’t be recognized. Having tried this product more than once, I can’t recommend it to anyone.
CristopherR –
Very good product, haven’t had any problems with it. Would recommend
Noble22nd –
Plug into your rog then hdmi to your tv or monitor and boom. Big screen gaming for your rog
AaronB –
Amazing didn’t not know it came with cord grate quality would buy again
Junior –
It works as intended, but gets really hot. After gaming for two or three hours the USB adapter for the Xbox controller and HDMI metal piece are extremely hot. I don’t know if mine is defective or if they’re all like that. Honestly, because of this, I just play it handheld.
DavidR –
The cable is great however, the block easily comes unplugged and doesnt work well with other cables rated as high or higher than the asus cable.
Chris –
Got it to charge my rog ally but works to connect it to my tv with hdmi port
apak –
It does the job but third party docks are now more widely supported as a result of BIOS update to the device from what I have been told, so you should research others first.
BillT –
This is a very elegant solution, returning the ally into a desktop PC. The only thing you have to concern yourself with is cable length and distance from an outlet.
SubtoDavidMarkunas –
I used this product on a daily basis. It works great. I’ve worked this product. Please buy it.
Jason1988 –
I ised it for months befire i decided to upgrade to a full gaming rig.
Scaro –
This may not be the best design for you main desk but to have the ability to carry a small dock on the go is the best thing since sliced bread. I love using this on the go and fits right in a case that i had.
Sypershill –
Amazing little thing. A little pricey and without an Ethernet port but well worth it if you don’t want a third party dock
RobertA –
Dock + power supply, does what it it’s supposed to do plug and play (unlike some other docks), could stand to be about $15 less expensive though.
AnthonyB –
Makes the charging/connection process faster and easier
FrankC –
Great product, works well. I recommend it 10/10. 🙂
Unknown –
Extremely buggy. Doesnt offer 65 watts. Will disconnect often.. cashiers are horrendous aswell.
Tiffyt93 –
Works great I just wish it included a stand that’s more heavy duty than the one the Ally comes with.
Nybness –
Love the fast charging, and love the hdmi port, 1 usb port means you will need a hub, and no data jack means your still relying on wifi.
GregJ –
The product is great, but this store sent an open box item although I ordered a new item. Maybe this store is a little suspect.
FerminC –
Good product , I like it cuz it’s simple an small factor
WaltR –
4k lasted about a day then the Ally started doing the “ba-dump ba-dump” sound that you get when devices are being connected/disconnected and it hasn’t done 4k since. I moved this to my HD in the bedroom and use my JSAUX dock on my big screen.
Tunnug –
Convenient, portable, 65w charger/dock that powers the ROG Ally in it’s highest settings. Comes with the USB C cord to connect the devices. Paired with a nice, folding tablet dock and the entire bit maintains portability.
Fahdam –
Multi use charger and dock with an extra usb to plug in peripheral. No issues, works as intended, would but again.
