It’s a good looking laptop
But very hard to clean and it’s a fingerprint magnet.
The unit i had was making a weird noise so i decided to return it, it’s get over 95 c , it’s acceptable because you are running at 3080 ti in a very small chassis, Only the CPU get hot.
I would’ve love to keep it but the weird noise made my return it.

I am definitely loving/liking this laptop lots of pros and some cons
Pros
– Lighter than I anticipated given the GPU.
– latest CPU, RAM, GPU, and storage.
– 2 TB of PCIE gen 4 is awesome (most laptops have 1 TB at most)
– Looks decent
– Win 11 Pro
– Very powerful laptop!
Cons:
– 720p camera only
– Keyboard is bit compressed. Could be a bit more wider.
– Less # of ports for a advanced laptop like this.
– Keyboard lighting configuration
– turbo fan mode noisy!
Overall enjoying the laptop

This laptop has been problem after problem since I got it and I paid 3400 for it! I got an asus router to go with it that is supposed to be great. I’ve done a factory reset on this computer multiple times. Tonight, despite having it on a fan system and having non-demanding settings, it stopped working entirely. The screen is black. When I restart it the asus logo shows up and then the screen is black. None of their fixes are working and their customer service has always been bad. I’ve had a month of hell with this device. I would get my money back but it wouldn’t feel like enough. They should pay me for my horrible experience and the hours upon hours I put into this hunk of junk. It’s been a month since I’ve had it and it took away time from my relationship and work just so I could try to set it up so I could use it for virtual reality therapy. But my belief is that they knew they designed an unusable product. I think asus is just all about money at the cost of a month of my life. I will shout from the rooftops how much they’ve hurt me and how bad their products are.

I bought this to replace a desktop and laptop, I love the mobility with a laptop. Can’t say enough about how much I love this laptop, fast, clear screen, backlit keyboard, variable speed fans yes 2 fans, superb sound. I added a second 2 TB 3D NAND for backup and storage.

Awesome laptop serving my needs for graphic-intensive gaming and creative video editing while still being portable. Check out all the available YouTube reviews on this machine to see if it fits your needs.
DrZaZaGamingHD –
Slim and powerful. Like two laptops in one. Battery life is manageable, but the sacrifice for power is worth it. Beautiful display. Put a skin on it, fingerprints do show.

What a laptop. Seriously excellent performance and build quality. And the price is so reasonable it really makes you scratch your head when looking at competitors’ products that are $1k more for the same performance and worse quality. 15/10 my expectations were exceeded.
Cool things I like: the chassis design is really good it’s super sleek and feels really high quality. Screen is really really good totally adequate for high level gaming. And Asus Aura Creator is super cool if you have other Asus accessories (which I also recommend).
Things I like less: the fan noise it must be said is pretty loud definitely louder when it’s on song than a comparable machine (weirdly though when it’s not on turbo it’s totally silent). Related to the fan it is pretty toasty as well so you def want a cooler of you’re putting it on your lap. And it could use another USB port or two but since the Asus accessories can connect via USB-C it’s really not an issue (it has plenty of those).
And finally, I know it’s a gimmick but the multi-color effect on the life is super cool lol.

This computer runs HOT. Very VERY hot. Battery life is only about 2 hours long at most, but when you have this much power, it takes a lot of power and generates a lot of heat. I am buying a cooling mat to help get temps down. However, my 7280x processor with a 3080 LHR out performs this laptop due to thermal throttling for now.

This laptop is everything I was looking for and some. It allows me to multi-task with ease. Everything works so smoothly. I’m 100% satisfied, so far!
MatthewP –
Really needed the GPUs for some AI work. This computer had exactly what I was looking for. Wasnt crazy about the rotating colors on the keyboard, but easily configured. I know this is a gaming laptop, but for the work I am using it for it is great. It could easily hold up to accommodate the most complex games.

Best Asus laptop I have owned. Have had zero issues being able to run multiple programs at once.

This is the computer that convinced me to quit buying Asus after years of going with Asus exclusively. I loved the graphics card and RAM – this was the most powerful computer I’ve ever owned and Blender and Zbrush run smoothly for high poly work. But apparently the ROG can’t handle it’s own scorching performance and if I’d done the research instead of trusting their high end gaming laptops to be high quality, I’d know ROG has a reputation for poor heat management.
Temps could go up to the high 70s celsius just using the web browser – doing anything intensive and it burns to touch. I don’t mind it sounding like a jet engine turning off, but even loud as it is it can’t regulate temperature properly.
I’m now having issues with it refusing to boot up properly after falling asleep sometimes. Hard reset doesn’t always work the first time. I’ve had it less than a year and I’m replacing it, just not with Asus this time.
Also, color fidelity kind of sucks and the screen is painfully bright. Might be fine if you only do gaming, but I needed better color fidelity for content creation.

not as good as expected for the price gets extremely hot even when not gaming. the closed-off side keyboard fans create heating issues.
PeterR –
This is the best laptop I have ever owned, it’s fast and the graphics are totally awesome.

Gets really hot when playing games. Gets loud too. Other than that, great laptop. Unfortunately they gave me a dead battery charger. The thing doesnt charge my laptop. Thankfully im able to use my previous Asus laptop charger.

I bought this laptop as a gift for my wife and she loves it. I believed that it would be well received when a sales associate commented that he wondered who bought the laptop he had wanted.
DonPunch –
Great laptop for gaming and content creations.
I use it for developing in UE5 and it works blazing fast. It does have issues with metahumans for some reason. Other than that, tested in a couple of games and with everything maxed, it was top notch.

So far so good, time will tell, I’ve had good luck with ASUS before
MartinP –
Everything was perfect. Delivery as expected and high quality product.

Awesome machine!! Such an upgrade over our older unit had us breathless and overwhelmed by its’ speed and capabilities. We were able to move seamlessly into this unit by moving our data from the programs we used on the older machine after installing the main programs to this one that made the migration easy. We never skipped a beat.

It’s very good for gaming and running all the top frames you need for gaming
