    I am a fan of the series, and while I do have my best and meh lists, this one ranks high. I was skeptical given the grandeur we were introduced to in previous installments – sweeping cities with monolithic structure and plenty of rooftops to parkour. This installment’s setting – The American Revolution – didn’t boast parkour fun (buildings and such during Colonial times). But I loved it. The story is engaging, and if you are a patriot or fan of American history, even better. I really enjoyed it and think this remaster did the original justice (I’ve played both).

    I wasn’t a big Assassin’s Creed fan until this gem of a game was released. The return of Desmond and the animus along with Desmond’s father and his colleagues . The introduction mission sets you up to learn the controls as you play as Haytham Kenway. You then enter a theater. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t played the game. You then come to America to find objects to gain power for the Templar. After a few missions as Kenway your a young Indian boy learning to hunt and you grow up doing various tasks till one day a tragedy happens. Things change and you leave the tribe to learn how to become an Assassin. As Connor you do missions and train. And for those that do t know this is the first of the series where ships play an important role in the game. A quick not this game also tells a stores about the American revolution.

    Now for game play it’s your typical modern Assassin’s Creed, Kenway is a bit sluggish and the controls act like they are but Connor they are fast like they should be.

    Graphically they did an amazing job for a remaster the colors are bright graphics are clear, just amazing from being on the 360 then Xbox one X. Usually when they remaster a game from the previous generation is he graphics aren’t that good but this remaster sure came out looking good.

    My score is 9/10 if you haven’t bought it I suggest you do.

    The Assassin’s Creed Series has it’s ups and downs, and I believe the downs start after the last Ezio game, however, this game is still well-done and not much of a drop-off from the Ezio games.

    Four stars because my son really enjoys play Assassins Creed series of video games, but he hasn’t played this game since it’s a Christmas gift. He’s play other Assassins Creed games on the old PS4.

    Great addition to my library. I had the XBOX 360 version playing on XBox One…but this just feels and looks better. Besides it has the extra bonus games.

    I played the original version of AC III back in the day and really enjoyed it. I usually can’t go back to a game, but this remastered version looks great and is totally addictive. Plus, it comes with the DLC.

    I have always been a big Assassin Creed fan. Whether you have played this gem in the past or are new to this series, I highly recommend this game. Very engaging story and great graphics upgrades. Thumbs up to the team who improved this version.

    I’ll keep it simple. If you loved Assassins Creed , get it. The graphics and 4K upgrades are amazing. The controls seem to run smoother and the combat hasn’t been updated thankfully.

    There’s also the fringe benefit of the dlc & Liberation.

    Good to see the game on the new consoles, with AC liberation. Third game in the original trilogy. They did add a whistle feature to the game to lure enemies.

    Originally, I played the Xbox 360 version and I thought it was average compared to other AC titles. However, after replaying the master, I confidently say that this has a better story than the newer titles.
