    We replaced the Comcast high speed modem/router with this modem and a separate router that gives us 2.5, 5, and 6 gig options with it picking the best for each connection. No regrets at all. So much better connectivity and speed. No more dropped chats while my son gamed or lost internet connectivity and it reaches our entire house unlike our old setup. Get it you won’t regret it. Great modem.

    Super fast with no problems. Dual LAN connections make managed networking easier. Highly recommended. Has 10G and 1G connections. It does get warm so cool area recommended for installation. It will last longer if it keeps cooler.

    Set up of the Arris Modem was fast and easy (a simple call to Spectrum, my internet supplier) and I was back in service with a faster, more stable internet service connection.

    Stellar modem for Xfinity/Comcast. I’ve went with a Motorola – MG8702 32×8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem + AC3200 Router – Black and it was junk. Ended up buying this Arris and an Asus router instead.

    Works well so far after 6 months of use. Although its not necessarily an issue, the modem itself is plastic and somewhat warm to the touch. A lack of a cooling fan means that you want to keep this away from warmer areas of your house (closets, attics, etc)

    New technology tripled my download speed after 10 minutes of set up. The app in box walks you through set up with Comcast/ Xfinity. No direct lan access to computer needed. Can set up all through app with Xfinity app. Download speed went from 280 mbps to 890 mbps with the new technology.

    Arris Cable modems are the modems of choice in my house. This new one is working great! The setup only took minutes and the only reason I am replacing my old Arris modem is because my provider upped my internet speed beyond what the old modem could accommodate.

    Purchased this to replace my faulty Motorola and after a few days my internet connection started to fail every 30 min or so… after a month of complaints with my provider without finding issues with the connection I decided to put a fan on top of the modem and finally discovered that the issue was overheating… I don’t use anywhere close to my bandwidth limits and those are less than half of the spec limit for the modem so I believe that is pretty bad design…

    This is probably the best value of the fully DOCSIS 3.1 cable modems. I took off one star because of the misleading hype on the package. Yes, it is capable of downloading data at 10Gbps, but it cannot send data to your router at that speed because the Ethernet connection is limited to 2.5Gbps. Thus even if you pay your cable company for 10Gbps Internet service, and install a 10Gbps Ethernet card in your high-end computer, you will never actually see download speeds anywhere near this because of the bottleneck at the 2.5Gbps Ethernet connector at the read of the modem. Despite the hype, I am quite happy with this modem. I paired it with a TP-Link wired router (no wifi) so I could get rid of the modem/router from Comcast that prevents the user from turning off the wifi radio! The Xfinity app connected the modem to the Internet after I entered its MAC address, but trying to use the Xfinity app for further setting up is a waste of time; I used the TP-Link’s internal router program to set up my wired network. If you want to use your own equipment (always a good idea) and have a separate cable modem and network router, this is a fine choice. But if you REALLY want 10Gbps from the Internet all the way to your computer, you’re gonna have to pay $600 for Arris’ modem/router.

    Doesn’t work on upload speed more than 25 mbps with x-finity comcast internet. I have a 100 Mbps upload speed in my plan but xfinity would not provide it for this modem

    Easy to setup. Works well. Just 2 ethernet connection. 2.5 and 1GB. I have my Erro 6 attached to the 2.5 ethernet. Other ethernet connection on Erro 6 attached to a Net gear switch. I am getting from Xfinity in the mid 900 internet speed. All devices are getting good wifi.

    Extremely easy to set up but I’d recommend downloading the app before switching routers just beware this doesn’t supply wifi you need a separate router

    Set up process was quick and simple, It’s less bulky than other modem I’ve owened. My only issue is that the ethernet port does not work unless your ISP provides the service for it.
