Speeds arent as they are supposed to be, buffers when multiple devices are connected. Contacted the cable company and “everything is operating as it is supposed to be” In adddition it was way too expensive to be having these issues

This was my first time to connect a router with internet provider. It took me five days to roll up my sleeves to start this project. Luckily, the connection was easy and the instructions were clear. You just need download the app and a cord from internet provider and follow the step by step.
Im enjoying the connection and performance. Highly recommend this router.

I’m SO disappointed in this router. My Husband and I use the internet for everything. We both work from home and often have online meetings at the same time while playing music and streaming a show. We also both online game. I pay a LOT for my internet service as a result.
This device and it’s terrible app have been the biggest thorn in my side! I was already upset I had to switch from Google Fiber to Xfinity with a move but this device has caused my systems to crash, calls to drop and more. I rely on my internet for my livelyhood and betwen the band splitting not working, the random invisible networks and an app that takes eons to load or do anything (I often just went around it on my computer) I regret the day I bought it and will be replacing it IMMEDIATLY.
If you’re like me and have 18+ devices, work from home and generally make the most out of your internet, save yourself the migraine and get something else.

I have a SmartStream box to watch television, and I thought my box was dead, but it was just poor Internet connection with a very old Wi-Fi box. Once I upgraded to this box, the signal was much smoother. I was able to watch television without a problem my Wi-Fi is better throughout the entire house. I guess you do have to upgrade that equipment every 3 to 4 years.

Absolutely awful. We have only had this device for 6 months and we have had to physically reboot it sometimes 10+ per day for the internet to work. It seems to be a firmware issue that Arris does not care to fix and it seems to be a widespread issue with other owners of this product.

Overall, highly satisfied. The setup was a little tricky, but I figured it out. The router itself runs everything in our 2400 square ft home easily. We have multiple phones, tv’s, gaming, and laptops running at once.would definitely recommend this product.

Great modem but like I found out later setup was a pain. I had to have Comcast come get it to connect. They did find some issues at the pole but their customer support is horrible. I do have to reboot it at least once a week to keep a fast connection.

This was super easy to setup and the speed is amazing. I use this with Xfinity and love the wifi. You won’t regret getting this as I am now free of the rental from Xfinity.

Constantly drops 2.4 band that some of my devices use. I have to reboot them and/or the modem to get it to work again. Never had that problem before with my old netgear. Going to return this and get something else.

The modem works fine. I purchased 1 Gig from Optimum. Optimum goes offline occasionally, but the modem comes online without a problem when Optimums service comes on.

Slow. It does not support the 1200mbps even the box says it will. I returned the product and went to mist expenssive one G54. F54 doesn’t stay on. I keep losing WiFi connection.

This router/modem works well when it works with fast speeds and good strong connection. However, there is a reported issue with Xfinity and Arris that disconnects devices because of internal wifi lane congestion. This happens about once or twice a day and I have to reboot the router to get everything working again. They are supposedly working on a firmware fix but it has not come out yet to resolve this issue. I will be looking for other options.

This product is advertised as working with Xfinity, for me it did not work at all. I also had a tech from Xfinity come out to make sure that I did set it up correctly. Unfortunately that was not the case. Would not recommend with Xfinity. Ended up purchasing the Arris stand alone cable modem and paired it with Eero 6+ wi-fi router. Works great!
