    Was told by my Cable company (Cox) that I needed an upgrade to take advantage of speed increases. Didn’t notice a notable difference but it seems to be working fine.

    I needed a new modem and this was being sold for a great price. I don’t have gigabit so why waste money on one of those modems? As stated, It is a wireless router with 2 wired LAN connections. My Router was really old and also needed to be replaced; “free” bonus upgrade! Wireless set up for my phone and printer was super easy. Make sure you change the default name/password on it so you neighbors don’t get free wifi.

    Was not compatible with Xfinity/ Comcast although it states it is. It doesn’t work with Xfinity – don’t waste your time

    An excellent option for those without high speed requirements (gaming, etc). Purchased this item for my daughter’s apartment and there was no problem connecting to Xfinity in VA. She only has 5 devices and there is no lag. Purchased for about $100 instead of $15 a month rental through Xfinity. Overall great purchase!

    This unit replaced an existing Arris modem. The installation was trivial. The setup paralleled the previous unit, so no difficulties there. Documentation was included in the package, which is nice. I can’t comment on the helpfulness of the documentation as I just stumbled through the install. I feel that the unit is a little expensive for what it is, but it put me back online quickly which was the important factor.

    Great 2 in 1 Modem/Router. It is Wifi-5 so if you were looking for the newest Wifi-tech, look at other options. For my needs, its the perfect all-in-one internet item. Great range and I have very good download speeds.

    Item works well with Xfinity/Comcast. Bought it so I could save on rental fees. Instructions could have been a little more user friendly, but I eventually figured it out without having to call the help desk. So far, so good. No complaints.

    My father in law bought this to replace his Xfinity modem and to save money from their monthly charges. He never had any complaints and it worked like it should. The only aggravating part was dealing with Xfinity to set it up.

    It makes much more sense to buy a cheaper modem than to rent one from Xfinity. Installation is very easy and convenient. I can’t comment on the wifi quality since my house is small, but it does more than enough for me.

    Did not work as expected. Only allowed our phones to load seemingly random apps. Tried to troubleshoot for an extensive period of time and eventually gave up and returned the device and went with our WiFi provider’s modem/router rental (which we were trying to avoid). I didn’t see many negative reviews on here so I thought it was important to share our experience.

    I finally got it to connect to Xfinity. It gave me less then 1 Mbps down. I took it back and bought a more advance 3.1 DOCSIS modem router that did work. Is it defective or is it no longer compatible with latest protocols?
