Completely locked out duebtonit not being restored and it is from a school dustrict with remote management.

Good price for a good-performing machine. I do Illustrator/Photoshop all day, this machine is fine, though I’ve ordered a RAM upgrade to max it out.
Be advised: As with other reviewer, my machine was not wiped, it still had a login for a school district and there really isn’t a way around that, even via command-prompt. I ordered a USB install stick with the Monterey OS.
This isn’t all bad: an institutional user like a school typically takes good care of the gear, the unit is in pristine condition.
Accessories are cheap-o Macally mouse and KB, wired, acceptable quality.
Good price/performance, but be prepared to do legwork if yours hasn’t been properly refurbished. Look to Etsy for sellers who can get you a bootable USB with current OS.

Opening it, I loved it. No scratches and definitely brand new feeling for a pre owned one. Size was great too. Obviously the mouse could’ve felt more up to date and the keyboard was pretty for it being corded. Everything was great until I started actually using it. It just runs a little too slow for my liking. My 75 y/o father didn’t mind it but I would just switch users and it would take at least two minutes for it to log off and then try to get to the switch user screen. Even trying to open up a new app takes a couple of minutes for the computer to think. If you don’t mind the lag, I def recommend especially for the price.

Worst choice ever.
Nothing in the descriptor said anything about it being 5 yrs old.
The microphone did not work and after going through Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3 Geek Squad and then Apple; it was determined that it was not fixable and to return the unit. Many wasted hours.

Hard drive needed replacing, came with dust and lint falling out of the bottom. Not cleaned, not refurbished. Utter garbage.

Computer arrived quickly and looks brand new! This thing is a work of art and was easy to set up. Best part is that it was WAY cheaper than a new one and does what I need it to do. The screen is crisp and looks huge compared to my MacBook screen. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased the iMac 2017 (refurbished) which came in great condition, but the built-in camera never worked. I done troubleshooting with a couple of Mac technicians and still does not work. How can you sell a product that is half busted? I have purchased many appliances from BestBuy in the past 8 months or so. This one was a disappointment. Purchased this the first week of March and got notification that the packaged got damaged during Transit. Re-order another which came on March 15th to received a half working desktop iMac.

Amazing Price on an incredible iMac.
My only fault with it is the keyboard and mouse that are included were not up to par for me scroll was backwards and cost me a lot of time in setup switching devices to avoid problems. Love the iMac though.

Good performance, the only thing was the memory wasn’t enough for design/photography softwares. It was so slow, takes 5 minutes to start. I add it 32g and works good now. The graphics are perfect. Overall good.

Even though it’s a 2017 and refurbished, it works great! Connected to my wifi and did all the updates with no problems. It also came with a keyboard and mouse which wasn’t apple. For the price, it should have came with a better keyboard and mouse. The keyboard works half the time and the mouse is flimsy and also only works half the time. In addition, not being able to put a protection plan on it makes me worry. So if it does by chance kick the bucket I’m screwed.

Basic Unit has good. response excepting color haze on screen when UTUBE is accessed Keyboard supplied is very frail and seems more like a toy, uneven balance and has to be elevated on the lower left corner.

I am totally satisfied with my purchase. I can’t believe this is a “refurbished”computer?! So much faster and smoother than my old 2009 iMac! It also had more ram in it than listed which was a nice surprise! I really love Best Buy for making this kind of purchase available since I was unable to afford a brand new computer.
