As an “average user” this is by far the best iPad I’ve purchased yet. Great feel, weight, battery life, and for a “mid-range” iPad, incredibly powerful processing! Everything works as described, no complaints thus far.
Beautiful screen, super fast processor, no screen lag, what’s not to like?
Only feature I wish was added is LIDAR capability – but my choice on cost vs. benefits. (Also recommend the Apple brand keyboard/cover if within budget, outstanding & durable tho pricey)

As the title states, this tablet is doing well so far. This iPad, paired with the magic keyboard cover, works adequate enough to act as a bridge between a mobile device and a full on laptop. I’ll share more details on that in the product page for the cover…
As for the device itself, it’s pretty zippy- no lags to speak of. I haven’t tried the camera on the back yet, but I already have camera shots handled by my phone anyway so that wasn’t a factor in my decision on this particular tablet. Nice and light, but feels like it can take a bump or two before failure so you don’t have to worry about having this surrounded by bubble wrap before getting a case in it. Screen is nice and bright, speakers are sufficient for what I need it for. It should go without saying that a screen protector should be placed on it- I personally have a Paperlike brand on mine that feels great despite a few air bubbles due to user error. 256 GB of space is definitely a plus due to Apple products not having any way of expanding storage in device itself. And the cellular connection works great for me but YMMV based on which carriers work where you live…
If you are searching for a sophisticated camera system that can replace a professional camera, this isn’t the right one for you. Meanwhile, if you’re searching for a solid choice for a versatile all-rounder tablet that can double as a basic laptop in a pinch, you won’t be given a hard time choosing the iPad Air!

Same great Apple iPad. First one is 10 years old and still serviceable. This new one is much quicker and the screen is really sharp. Can’t go wrong with the iPad Air.
