    I plug it in the wall and it immediately trips my circuit breaker. Tried it in multiple rooms and on GFCI outlets, still the same, trips the central breaker. Garbage, returning.

    Cheap back up unit I use on a couple of recliners for when the power goes off so you can move them from the recliner position to upright. Its almost impossible to get out,of them when power is off.

    Pretty basic. Works at batter backup to hold wifi router power. Never usually lose power for more then 2 hours. Anything more would require different ups.

    After a nasty storm in our area where we lost power for over a week, we had a full-home generator installed. It takes a second to kick on after recognizing a power-outage. I installed this on our modem and router so they never lose power and so we’re always connected, so our laptops just continue running, and we keep on working like nothing ever happened.

    I have always purchased APC battery backups for my devices. This one is great and it is the perfect size. APC is the best battery backup that I have found. This is my 4th one.

    Not even a year in and it’s already beeping telling me that the battery needs to be replaced. It does this even when it’s plugged in the whole time. So, if you’re getting this, know that this is pretty much just a surge protector.

    Impressed with the small size and light weight, plus the four (4) back-up outlets with two (2) surge protection.

    It’s been a couple of decades since buying a UPS when fewer plugs were offered, and the bulk and weight was like lifting a boulder.

    One curious note, it off-gasses a low electrical chemical odor for the first couple weeks of use. Other than that I’m satisfied with this small, yet effective power regulating device.

    Great back up for lights but don’t really run anything major. I have several to keep lights running and to be abe to charge iPhone etc if and when electric is out.

    seems to operate well. turned off the power and it maintained electronics immediately.
    It is heavy and I was surprised it has a lead acid battery. I will have to change it out with a lithium when it dies.

    This was purchased to replace an (ancient) APC unit where the battery died. The new one plugged in and started up. Compared to the ancient one, “attaching” the battery is very simple, so that’s a welcome improvement. I’ve not had a power incident yet, but I did a very quick power loss test (I unplugged it) and it kept everything running just fine.

    APC-Back-UPS is a very good asset for my laptop when using as a desktop computer allowing the laptop to be fully charged longer, continue using the external monitor plus supplying surge protection.
