I purchased this refrigerator less than a year ago. At first I was somewhat pleased (even though the shelves have everything falling over), but now the rubber around the top and bottom has separated from the doors. Freezer has ice around and under the rubber parts. It freezes, then start defrosting due to the rubber not sticking and keeping the cold. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

No rack in freezer – difficult to organize in freezer without a rack. Racks in refrigerator are grill so nothing stands up unless has large bottom. A year later the insulation stripping around the door start to come off. Looks like they used the least amount of glue – just enough to hold it on…for at least a year. Buy something else this is a peice of cheap junk.

We bought this because we desperately
needed a refrigerator and during the pandemic this is all we could find. It is such a poorly made product. I am so disappointed with it. The seal is cheap and often falls off (we had a service person come out to fix it, but it still is bad). The wired shelves are ridiculous (items fall all the time). The freezer is so bad and it is very difficult to organize food. I can’t believe Amana puts its name on this. No more Amana appliances for me.

I like the open space in the freezer for large boxes like pizzas and such. The fridge itself keeps temperatures around 36 degrees when set on the recommended setting. It is capable of getting much colder if desired. The only thing I miss about my old fridge is it had a handle! This fridge has no handle so you have to grab the door itself from the side to open which took a little getting used to because I feel the door gets away so to speak from me from time to time. It’s only been a month or so but so far so good.

The frig is much smaller than what I had but it is what I wanted. The gaskets on the frig and top freezer keep popping out. I had it serviced once ad already need to schedule for the same issue. The temp is not consistent.
