I got this webcam on clearance. For the price ($65), it’s quite nice. I am thankful for the privacy cover. The auto focus seems to work. At MSRP, I would not purchase this camera, however. There are much better options in the $100 price range.
AudioCable –
good quality. well packaged. moderately priced. easy install.
2022 –
Good quality camera for its size: easy hook up and adding it to the computer

Pretty good product, better than many I’ve used. Simple, basic. Has decent camera and the lens is wide enough.
Mic is typical– not very directional so you get a lot of room noise, but quality is OK. Wish it had an input for an external mic.
Flip-down lens cover is useful.
Mounting is weak. Requires velcro so you can’t adjust it once set. Tilting it just right is cumbersome.
Above average. Shop around for best price-matching at Best Buy.
Macp62 –
Good sound and video quality, software interface is okay but not great.
BlueArkie –
I’d give it a 5 but the mounting is poorly engineered. It sits atop my monitor – but never is really secure. Audio and video are good, good resolution.
Jackie –
Great product at a reasonable price. I had the camera up and running in minutes

Pros:
The image is alright.
The auto focus works generally.
Cons:
The image is really grainy for me.
Everything always look a little bit blurry.
The auto focus is slow and doesn’t truly focus at times.
It’s so dang bright. The base settings made me look like a cloud with any amount of light on. I had to wait until it starting getting dark out before I was not purely white. And to answer the question of “why don’t you just turn the settings down?” It doesn’t help, you always will look washed out in a well lit room, it has to be dimly lit for the camera to look any kind of good.
The “2k” doesn’t really look like “2k”. It’s a pretty whatever picture and the 60 fps doesn’t look very good either.
Basically no software support from Aluratek.
This webcam is a piece of work. I’ve had it for at least a year now, and while it’s better than no webcam, the thing has frustrated me for months with how bright the image is, and how grainy it looks when it is actually dark enough to see you. If you are like me and you saw this for a huge discount and thought it’s definitely good for the price, it really isn’t.
TLDR: The image isn’t very good, too bright, too grainy. Bad software. Works, but look elsewhere.
I just bought the Anker PowerConf C200 for $50 and it’s so so so so much better. I didn’t realize how bad I had it until I got the Anker one. Check that one out or really any of the Logitech ones under $50 and they’ll probably look at good, if not better, than this Aluratek trash.

Nice for my wife’s online classes. Mic could be better
Spyro –
Very good camera. Records video clearly with good light adjustment.

CFiresecuritycom –
Excellent Mini cam with Mic . Its just plug and play
JMCT –
Works very well. Just as advertised. A real value.
Funbuyer –
Great webcam at a great price! Picture is clear and good color.
Mparilynn –
Great camera and video quality only diffuculty is if you have a built in camera to you computer already.
PhotoNut –
Video quality is ok. The autofocus is terrible!!! It constantly adjusts focus in a way that distracting to everyone. Returning it and would not recommend unless you can ignore that distraction.
Rocky –
Good Picture Good Conexion Very clear and great Sound Great Pixels
TuxTechTV –
I took a chance and it worked out for me. As a Ubuntu linux user the best webcam to buy. It worked with Zoom flawlessly. No apps to download plug and play.
FlyAwayJay –
I purchased this a while ago and regret not returning it right out of the gate. It constantly gets static and pixelation in the image, coworkers I was on video calls with said I sounded a milion miles away. This forced me to turn my camera off so I could move the unit closer but then was basically shouting into it. It’s easy enough to use; just plug it in. But it started having issues after about three months and then this camera ended up being completely useless after less than a year. I’ll be switching back to a Logitech.
1streview –
Works well to my standards, best bang for my buck.
PaulaS –
easy to use and handy to have.
hooks onto my computers.
Douglas –
Wonderful camera for the computer. Very clear and noise canceling works very well.
GFBestbuy –
gave webcam to brother as a gift…he just told me it’s no longer working just after 2 years. smh.
Andrew –
Super easy set set up; “plug-and-play” was not an exaggeration. Good picture, great price. Have not used the mic/speakers; I work in a cube farm so I’m all headphones or earbuds all the time. Nice and small, easy to carry as needed. I wish it rotated sideways, but it just turns the picture sideways.
Terry –
Received great feedback on quality, just need to figure out how to adjust the volume.
88Dale3 –
Wife needed for new work at home part-time job nice picture.
LWHJR –
Plug and play with good video quality. Not much more to say, worked as expected.
Eddie –
Been using this camera for a few weeks now. Great picture. Decent mic
sweezus –
Good camera. Not great. Could be a lot worse and better. Very 2.5 stars.
forbiddenplanet –
This webcam worked well for several years. Good image quality and resolution. Eventually it developed a short and now only works intermittently.
JonnyStorm –
Good value but two issues. It seems to white out bright spots, not good at skin tones with my normal lighting (which works fine for the apple built in camera). Also I’d really prefer it had a light to indicate when the camera is in use. I don’t trust it for that reason.
RobertP –
It’s a high quality web cam with stereo mics. nice privacy cover.
Happy –
Working fine with my two different model laptops. It serves my meeting purpose.
KadenD –
I bought the wrong one but the packaging and quality of the product was quite nice.
Dre234 –
Not best camera but not the worst it’s decent for video calls and streaming it’s like temporary type of camera
Anon –
Decent webcam for videochatting and stream, not the greatest pixels and not the worst so it some where in the middle, great for starting out and getting your content out there.
EnriqueP –
Perfect for zoom meetings of stream online, picture quality is good, I play with my friends online and on discord looks great
AntonioPG –
I love the cam. Very useful and good quality image
ndusti –
Honestly really surprised at the cost for quality this product provided. I use it for meetings and it has been great so far!
jimMB –
some window glare but overall pretty good, I would reconmend
BrianN –
It’s okay if you need it for casual usage and for school zooms.
ThomasM –
So far love this item! I bought it for streaming and it works supper well! it has lots of different options for zoom levels as well!
Unknown –
Great cam for streaming like twitch it 2k great image
Productuser420 –
I bought this for $35 before tax 2 years ago… It was during the holiday season, but the msrp price has been jacked up thru the roof. Solid webcam, but not worth the msrp of $135 or the sale price at $65.
Brett –
Bought this and it barely did anything better than my $20 I bought years ago.
BizzyBev –
love, love, love this item you can hear very clear no noise
SCHATLA –
Nice camera with good quality and it’s very easy to use.
eduardo –
Item works good i use it as a keyboard cam for streaming.
MekiliaO –
I had to get one of these for my online schooling, it works pretty good.
HSKK –
I found that the video quality is decent, but the Mic does not pick up my voice so I’ve had to add a standalone mic
