Not happy at all. Got a 2 year warranty with it. 2 years, 3 months later the fridge is crap. Spend several weeks so far trying to get Geek Squad to repair, No Luck. It is still broken.
Fridge stays at 65 degrees. Freezer is at 10 degrees.

We really like our new Whirlpool Refrigerator. The French doors give us more space to see the food inside plus all the drawers are great. The bottom freezer has so much room and a drawer that is perfect for things like ice cream and daily items.

Maybe we got a lemon, but fridge stopped cooling. First for about 20 min on a Monday evening then completely stopped on the weekend. And that’s awful timing bc Whirlpool only answers phone 8-6 weeknights. So I have had all my food in coolers all weekend ($200 in coolers and ice). Finally reached Whirlpool only to be told the earliest service date is FOUR days away. So if you can, get a backup fridge for garage bc this is an expensive problem with no speedy resolution.

Unhappy about service provided. Manager Drew is useless not helpful at all. 1800 number for customer service was loud could hear people laughing and no one could answer my question. Beginning to really regret buying a refrigerator at this business. Installer was to rough when installing and broke off screw in plate.

I purchased this refrig/freezer in August 2023. Within a week there was moisture on the top of the freezer drawer. Now there is heavy ice buildup in the freezer and the icemaker isnt working properly. One day it was full, the next was empty and only a few ice cubes come out every so often. I called BestBuy & was told that they are not allowed to service the item within its warranty period, so they referred me to Whirlpool. Now I have to wait 2 weeks before they send someone out. Im noticing others having similar problems. Now I cant make my smoothies without ice. It shouldnt take 2 weeks to get someone here.

The interior of the fridge is divided excellently. Temp is great. 1st attempted delivery was a bit “shady”, while the 2nd pair of drivers and “Bill” the tech assigned to follow up on a small damage issue on the completed delivery, provided outstanding service. The last three individuals, especially Bill, are great representatives of your company. We will purchase products from Best buy again.

Really cannot adequately review this refrigerator; I’ve only had it a few weeks. The best thing was with my BB Total Tech Plan, they delivered, installed & hauled away my old refrigerator for $0.00.
From a design perspective, it’s much better than my old side-by-side. Also, the appearance inside & out appears to be well made. I bought a water filter before it was needed; the cost was not too high. I’ll provide further info once I’ve owned it for a longer period of time.

All i can say nice, is it still works. The rear feet are not levelable. In my new house, i has to add 3/8 inch of shim in one corner of the rear. Many in and out rollings have marked my floor. The bestbuy guys who origionally installed it were nice but clueless about leveling, which is crucial to this ceaply built fridge. 2 months of use and noticed water on the freezer gasket. Called total tech, who after a long time pawned me off to whirlpool warrenty support. After many calls, a tech came out and the moulan heater strip was bad, 2 weeks later he replaced it. The ice maker died, bought a service manual and fixed it myself. Getting the swiging doors aligned was a nightmere. Only adjustable on one side and i was out of adjustment. Had to buy nylon shims for the non adjustable side. The install team did not remove all the blue tape, which is not visiable without removing drawers. Broken glass bits were occasionally falling out. Found the taped lower shelf over the lowest drawer. Ill have to take it all apart, when i have a place to store the food, and figure out what it’s from. Lastly, the shelves are not even and sag on one side…wimpy…
But it still works, 5 months later, so ill keep it going and live with it.

Overall the frig is excellent. However, we had a problem with the water dispenser in the door that with it dripping after getting water dispensed. This has taken some time in getting the issue resolved (actually the issue will be resolved on December 6th by Whirlpool factory service).

We love our new refrigerator /freezer! We have had it for a month and so far so good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the ice dispenser is quite loud. There is no sneaking ice!

Purchased this in April of 2023. In December of same year, the compressor went completely out. It’s now January the 9th, and I’m still without a refrigerator in my kitchen. I’ve now gone three plus weeks without a refrigerator. Whirlpool assigned the repair to a company that only comes to my neighborhood in Sunbury OH, on Friday’s. As a result, when it went down, I waited 4 days before they would come out to determine the problem. He was in and out in 15 minutes and advised me that it would take a minimum of 2 weeks before he could get a compressor in. They called two days ago and said they would be out on Friday the 12th to replace the compressor. My wife informed them we would be unavailable that day, because of a scheduled event that has been on our books for weeks. Their response was, we’ll see you the following Friday, the 19th. I ask, how many of those who are reading this, can go a month without a refrigerator?? Finally, Whirlpool informed me that this particular unit was sold to Best Buy in April of 2022. As a result it sat in their warehouse for over a year.

We have had our refridgerator for about three weeks and really like it. It makes ice much faster than our old one and the space seems better laid out.
Disappointed –
The fridge was good while it lasted but the compressor died after we’d only owned it for 14 months. No one was available to service it so we’re swapping it for a different fridge entirely now.
While it did work, the PROs were that it is big, nicely organized, and has a very spacious and compartmentalized freezer. The CONs were that the water dispenser never worked properly for us. The water came out incredibly slowly and it wanted the expensive filter replaced very often. We had a Whirlpool tech come out as well as a plumber and no one could figure out why.

I like this refrigerator very much. It is very similar to the old one I got rid of, but the water dispenser is much better – the water comes out in a nice, gentle stream and does not squirt all over the place.
