    It seems like a reliable ssd. However, it has an issue with not powering down when I try to “remove” it from my PC. That is my only complaint.

    I have an older Seagate backup drive that used Memeo backup software that stopped working, so I deinstalled Memeo and installed Seagates newer software, Toolkit. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked perfectly with my old drive. I purchased this Seagate drive and it was easy to install so now I have two backups that are managed by one Toolkit app. Great!

    Drive is a great little backup device, but don’t expect it to really look “Light Blue” as in the photos; if you hold it just right, you might see a slight hint of blue, but it basically appears silver.

    Quality and affordability! Can be used on a PC or MAC. Recommend this product. If you are into color, the blue is more of a grey blue and nice to separate from other hard drives by color.

    No complaints so far. It is sleek and decently priced. Just using it for extra storage (yes i know i’m old school, but i prefer to have “hard” copies physically accessible as opposed to storage in a cloud or on someone else’s servers. Delivery took FOREVER though.

    Many don’t seem to enjoy Seagate external harddrives. I personally like their portability. I had issues with a tabletop external hard drive of a different type, bought elsewhere. No issues whatsoever with it. It’s easy to install, use, etc. and it holds quite a bit of photos, documents, etc. The only thing I don’t like about them is they only accept certain types of files.

    This Backup Plus Slim 2TB from Seagate works great. It is small, lightweight, packs easily for transporting, and has a terrific amount of storage for the price (especially if on sale). If you are more satisfied with capacity than speed (compared to a SSD) then this is the way to go.
