    The chord is maybe 3 feet long. Desperately needed a chord and it does the job. Just be ready to sit next to an outlet if your battery is low.

    I bought this because best buy sold me an HP lap top a while back and the charging cord became frayed. They said they did not sell HP Parts only the laptops. I asked them if they could order the product for me so I would get the right one. I was told they could not order anything they don’t sell. They sold me the apple one which was very short and I had to practically sit on top of an electrical outlet to use it. Finally I received the correct one from HP after much difficulty. I feel Best Buy should have told me that i would have to get replacments parts directly from HP before selling me that Laptop. Had they done so I would not have bought it. I will be very cautious about buying anything from Best Buy in the futere.
