    ARC Mobile (iOS or Android) uses your mobile devices’ built in microphone to custom tune your Subwoofer in real time for the best performance in your room. Or use the optional ARC Genesis software (PC or MAC) and microphone kit (sold separately) for more calibration options.

    Dynamo 800X is wireless ready out of the box with use of the MartinLogan SWT-X, or SWT-2 wireless subwoofer kits (sold separately).

  • Unique Front or Down-Firing Design
    When placed in a cabinet or other discreet location, Dynamo 800X subwoofer can easily convert from standard down-firing to front-firing orientation, with no tools or special skills required. A grille is provided for use in front-firing applications.
  • Inverse Mathematical Equation (IME) Filter
    The IME filter used in the Dynamo subwoofers is derived from the inverse of the unfiltered driver response. Precision IME filtering yields extremely accurate low-frequency response.

    BOOM- Packs a big punch in a small package. We are not disappointed in the performance, I was a little reluctant at first but it performs at a higher level than I expected.

    The subwoofer that I got to go with the Bowers & Wilkins bookshelf set. I looked at the b&w subwoofers, both the 600 and the 800 but decided to go with the Martin Logan for the crispness. Love the combo.

    Love this sub! Fantastic sound and easy setup with ARC, but still learning and adjusting settings. Cleaner and less boomy than my Sunfire D8. I especially like easily changing settings from Movie to Night.

    This is my 2nd MartinLogan Dynamo 800X. I bought it to supplement the 1st one so that the bass will be “felt” more evenly throughout the room. It is doing just that. I’m very satisfied with the product.

    Recently purchased a Martin Logan ESL, which needed help in the lower base range. This ML 800X blended with the ESL, which had only one 8inch woofer. The Blue Tooth remote for the IPhone is alot of fun to use, but can be very frustrating at times as you must close the app, before you turn the iPhone on.

    Based on the description when I was deciding…I thought it had wireless built-in. My fault for not doing better research. It does sound really nice though.. although for the same price I could have gotten the SVS. Would love to do a side by side comparison.

    Very nice subwoofer with a small footprint. It’s the perfect size for a bedroom. I have it paired with my KEF R3s. Having the option to change from down firing to front firing is the reason why I purchase Martin Logan subwoofers. The flexible is a must. I used the Perfect Bass Kit to dial it in to my room.

    I replaced my older MartinLogan for this Dynamo 800X. Same great sound and quality. Looks nice in the corner of the room. It has legs now, my last one did not. The legs look real nice. We put a tall fake potted tree on top. Blends right into the room.

    For the price range, it is outstanding. The app works great and it really does improve the sound. The sub is versatile – you can have it forward or downward firing. The bass is tight and not boomy… works well for music and movies. The only knock on it is that it drops off quite quickly around 20hz. If that matters to you, I would recommend spending a little more to get the next one or two steps up in the series.

    After nearly 7 years of service, my previous MartinLogan subwoofer died, and I replaced with another one of the same make and model. So far, so good. I don’t have it hooked up wirelessly – it’s fine as it is. I like how the little legs lift the unit, so the speaker can fire. Great sound.

    This sub really surprised me. When I went to shop for subs, I was mainly looking at SVS. Martin Logan never crossed my mind for subs. I was replacing an almost 20 year old B&W that could dig deep.
    The salesperson was reallly helpful as we demoed this, SVS and REL. Big thing for me was app control. I liked the size of this unit along with the ability to dial in with the Anthem Room Correction app. This made a huge difference in the smoothness and tight punch I was looking for. Does it go the deepest? No, but for its size it hits pretty hard wothout being too obtrusive.

    I wouldnt hesitate to purchase again.
