Awesome!!!!!! I hogjly recommend, must purchase for any serious audiophile. Makes whole system 3 notches better, every note is emphasized, not just bass.

Awesome subwoofer! Very heavy but has great sound. Also put the subwoofer app on my phone so I can control it in my seat while watching a movie.

I bought this sub to replace 2 emotiva Ultra 12’s and also bought a set of the SVS Ultra towers. All 3 are beasts and are some of the best workmanship I have seen in a speaker company in 40 years. I also have a set of Martin Logan SL3″s next to them and use the sub for both.
Let me explain, I don’t listen to all 4 speakers at the same time but switch between each pair depending on what I’m listening to. I’m using Emotiva Mono Block amps on both and the SVS are the best kept secret out there.
Now back to the sub. The cool thing is that it’s a sealed enclosure which gives me very tight musical bass. I’m not a surround sound guy but 2.1 guy. The app that controls the sub is awesome. Sit back and work it from your listening position. The thing is a piece of art and sounds amazing.

Purchased a B&W DB4S but was just not getting what I wanted out of it! Decided to give SVS a try as I hear nothing but good things about. Went with the SB4000 because of the display and the power it offer and I must say, it did not disappoint. This thing shakes the my house at 50%. User friendly app allows you to customize to your taste. Give it a try… you don’t be disappointed!

I just can’t believe these SVS subs. They are fantastic. I mean they are head over heals better than the competition. To top it all off they are less expensive than the competition! And when I say they are fantastic I mean not only in the quality of the bass but the power. It conveys the lower end of the music beautifully but when it needs to, it really can POUND! I’ve heard many, many subs and SVS sounds better than all of them by a long shot. I’d like to listen to a REL as they say those are really top end but then they cost 8X as much.

This is a bad a** subwoofer, no complaints at all. You can control and tweek the sound from your phone.

Simply breathtaking. I have this sub paired with some Def Tech BP 7006 fronts. The EQ on the SVS app is an excellent tool to set up. It is easy to set the subs volume to blend in with the front speakers.

Awesome build quality with great sound. Looks awesome too. Only real cons are the weight (this thing is really heavy) and the constant dusting required to keep them clean (for the black gloss at any rate).
