    I am a professional Audio Visual tech and musician. I always look for small headphone for light work or plug in to video cam that has 20Hz to 20Khz. This little number has the full freq spec in it and sounds very good for what they are. They are not over ear phones, nor are they large diaphragm or pro quality. They are not designed for that. But they are the best I have used for light jobs and basic listening. I dont like ear buds. And over ear can be cumbersome for light work. These fit the bill. and for the price i have not found any better. I have a few pairs. One for each bag I use for different jobs so I am never stuck without a reference pair on me. The sepaker fold flat to slip into outside zipped pocket perfectly. you will need to buy a 1/8″ f to 1/4″m adaptor for use on certain equipment.

    Quite comfy on the ears but the second one i ordered the top piece of the headband was almost sharp like..well. a cheap headband. Instead of returning It I used some of my stylish ducktape to ‘fluff’ the headband out. (i had used a coupon and got the headphones for 3$…) If you can get these on sale for around 10$ then great. But I wouldn’t buy these at their normal 20$ price as BOTH times they’ve broken they’ve snapped at the connection between earpiece and headband where they fold.

    Instead of throwing them away because the wires are connected to the earpieces i just snapped the other end of the headband off. I now use them for sleeping music on my ipod as if i roll over on them during the night I won’t hurt my arm or side. The first pair has lasted for over a year, maybe two, this way. Second pair broke after 2 months and i’m debating giving it the same treatment or seeing if tape works again.

    I bought these after reading the cnet review and recommendation and couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve been around pro audio a lot and am pretty picky about accuracy. The eq isn’t flat but good for casual listening, the low end is really good when pushed for their size. They have a warm analog character. Noise isolation is also pretty good. They’re comfortable and stay on well even on my 2xl head. I’ve bought at least 5 or 6 of these for different uses and as gifts and only two have had minor durability issues. You can’t beat them for the money, just buy ’em.

    Bought these to wear under shooting headphones (Peltor) that I wear when I mow. Tried these alone, but mower is too loud and to drown it out needed the volume too loud and might damage ears. They are flat enough to fit under Peltor and be comfortable for an hour or two of mowing. The last 4 or 5 hours the pressure from the Peltor on top of these was too much so stowed these and went just to the Peltor. But the sound quality with these is excellent for the price, and if you wear them by themselves with normal background noise, very acceptable, even surprising amount of bass for this price point (these were marked down).

    This is not for music professionals, but for a casual user. For the really low price it is surprisingly comfortable and sound quality is decent for an average user.

    Considering the cost of these headphones, they are quite good. As affordable as they are, its surprising the sound that comes through. No, they aren’t Bose. But they are still rock solid headphones. They’re also comfortable on the ears and you can wear them for some time before feeling the need to take them off. Definitely worth it!

    Over experience is quite pleasant, the price, the red color and the ability to flip the cups makes me want to buy the whole family. Reason why I bought it was because I needed a wired headphone that dosnt need to charge on those long days where I just want to fall asleep listening to music.

    I did not like this product. Even with adjustments, I couldn’t wear for more than 10 minutes before adjusting again. My ears kept getting pinched as well during use.

    Love these.. the colors are great.. avg sound and start to hurt your ears after long hrs but for reg general use they feel great light compact.. jvc did away with these for a few yrs. Glad they brought it back
