Bought this as an addon for my older tv’s that were not smart tv’s. Works great, easy setup, lots of free content to watch. Has all the current apps for different streaming content. One drawback, don’t do a factory reset unless it is absolutely your last resort. If you do, it has to redownload the apps from Google Play Store and if the app has been updated to an incompatible version it will not install and it’s a bit of a hassle to download a previous version.

The design is intuitive and it works without a lot of fuss.

Garbage. Always reboots itself randomly. Playback often stutters, especially with 4k. Garbage.

Real good android box can’t complain streaming and enjoying this little tivo!

I chose the TiVo streaming device to compare with my FireTV stick. This device is easy to use and downloading apps is very simple.

Nothing appears on tv screen no way of setting it up. Check batteries they were fine.

TiVo is Best in categorization for tv Content and Streaming. Best hardware for 4k experience and external hard drive support through usb c connection.

I own many Android TV devices, and Chromecast with Google TV devices. I like Android TV over Chromecast with Google TV, and this device is a perfect fit. It seems like a standard Android TV device with some added features. Dolby Vision and HDR are great when the content supports them. The best thing about this device is the remote. Better then any other remote including my Nvidia Shield. I would recommend this streamer. You even get to save a few dollars over the Chromecast with Google TV.

Thank you!

I have a 9 year old 60″ Samsung smart TV that I could not get the Paramount+ streaming app on. Rather than replace the TV I thought that I would give the TiVo Stream 4K a try. This device will add any streaming app that you could want. Additionally, even though I have a Samsung soundbar, when I streamed from Amazon Prime it would not work and I had to switch to the TV speakers. Using the TiVo streaming device I now need only the remote that came with the TiVo. It controls the streaming device, TV, and soundbar, and I no longer have to switch to TV speakers ever.

I have owned TIVO products for many years and they have all been great purchases. This device is small but you can do many things with it. You can add apps like Kodi and also add memory for downloading. It works great with just the included apps but this competes with Firestick devices and Chromecast. I have not found anything I don’t like about it.

Great box, very fast, and easy to use, you don’t need an account. Excellent price wise

I thought this was a TiVo stream. This more like a Roku type streaming device. I can use it in another room. It works, so I won’t return it.

Have to reconnect to wifi after each time you shut down. Works good after that

We have loved TiVo since the 90s and have owned many of their products. This one, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations.
Not great video quality. Poor user interface. Poor App integration for streaming services. And unstable.

This has been highly overlooked. 2gigs of ram makes it one of the best out there. Very smooth running and fast.
GLOW –
Wish you can bypass the Tivo set up in the beginning. Don’t know why but It does broadcast Bluetooth. Random neighbors can try to connect to it and you will get an annoying pop up every time. Need third party apps to disable. Other then that works great.

Purchased and did not set up easily as shown. Had to contact agent to finish set up and then to find out the product would not work the volume on my tv after speaking to another agent. Had to return and bought a Roku and I love it!

No good box streaming,it freeze All the time, and the controller keeps disconnecting all the time, the power button and vol button never works you have to reset the controller every time you want to turn the tv! Awful streaming box .

I was looking for something that seemed easy-to-use for my elderly parents that are very new to live streaming TV after having cable for many years. After reading multiple reviews and videos from across the internet, I decided to buy two Stream 4Ks.
The physical product itself has a great build quality; I really like the remote control. However, on the software side of things, the TiVo Stream 4K has many frustrating issues.
For one, it’s an OS inside an OS with TiVo’s Stream app which seems to overwhelm the overall system at times. Switching back and forth from TiVo’s app to the main Android TV home screen multiple times can cause a blink screen to occur. This can happen when pressing the TiVo button as well. To remedy that, you have to unplugged the power supply from the device to reset it.
The TiVo Stream app is supposed to integrate Sling TV, YouTube TV, and some other services that works within their app; an easy one-stop shop TV guide. This is great when if/it works properly. When YouTube TV was paired, the TiVo guide is littered with, “Title Not Available” for many channels. The information button on the remote is rendered useless as you’ll get an error message for most channels when trying to get information about a certain TV program(s). Some of the functionally of the apps when using the TiVo Stream app is limited compared to just going to a main app like YouTube TV (i.e. can’t record a show within the TiVo Stream app).
One of the Stream 4K’s main selling point was Sling TV integration with the TiVo Stream app. This is no longer the case as TiVo has decided to not offer that service anymore. You can still watch Sling TV on the device but you won’t be able use to the TiVo Stream app with Sling.
Other than the TiVo part of things, the device itself is okay; could use more storage. The Android TV OS is clucky compared to Google TV OS.
After being the on market for almost 3 years, the product as a whole is not a complete product. You would think by now the TiVo Stream 4K would be polished to run well for what it’s intended to do. But with many frustrating issues with this product, I will not recommend it anyone.
Definitely was disappointed with the product as its not what I expected it to be. I’ll be returning both devices that I purchased.

purchasing was easy going and the delivery time was quick as well…
I’m going to start with the CONS first: Cons – Setting up was a challenge and I had to call customer support for assistance and that was also a challenge as the system wouldn’t recognize my street address and city. go figure. In the long process of getting my Tivo streaming device working the support assistant had to walk me through a long process and the person had to activate it while I was making my account and then linking it. Now this is a first for me as I already helped my cousin do his and no problem for them. Go figure again. Maybe because I’m outside of the United States why the problem lies in the IP Address could be an issue. But that shouldn’t give so much trouble still. Second, when pressing the home button it doesn’t log into the home page. Again maybe it is just my device that has this issue I have where I have to unplug it to restart the device to get to the home page. This is also a first for me as my cousin didn’t have this issue. Maybe it’s the streaming device now…Paramount+ doesn’t work on this device..Not good Hope they are working on this…
PROS: The Tivo Stream 4K UHD media player delivers what is expected. As you unbox it and get connected to your WiFi there’s an update for it. The preloaded apps work great without any issues. The live streaming works very well as I am kept up to date over there. The remote feels very comfortable in the hand, and the navigation buttons all work well and are responsive. Voice-to-speech works well. Expanding the storage is simple as well.
I would recommend this streaming device to anyone as you can do so much more with it as well.

Gets hot when watching a lot of 4k content, sometimes the home screen stops working. CEC doesn’t work correctly.
Extivo –
Because it stopped working in 1 month this TiVo isn’t like the larger TiVo dvr cable box version
Dell –
It works. I have used Tivo ever since I cut the cord years ago. I’ve had no problems and don’t expect any with Tivo Stream. It was super easy to install and set up on my television to receive all my streaming services.
RiPa74 –
This is a great 4K Streaming device. Better than Roku and Amazon Fire TV stick. Highly tecommend
AlejandroB –
I love this stream devices, it is very complete and I do recommend it and I would buy more in the future

This unit has been great. So great that I bought two more from elsewhere, rhymes with scamazon. The second two reset randomly and will be going back. Hopefully they don’t bill me for it again and tell me twice my cc will be refunded when it didn’t.
Not sure what the difference is but they need to figure it out. they may go a while without doing it but just entering the Google acct, did it almost every time and was a nightmare.
If I had stopped at the first unit, 5 stars.

Limited android tv many apps not available the device is self worked Fine

The TiVo Stream 4K, the Fire TV 4K Max, and the Chromecast 4K are all very similar devices. They all offer 4K UHD streaming, HDR support, and voice control. However, there are some key differences between them. TiVo offers Google Assistant and Alexa support. It also offers a USB-C port for additional storage or other possibilities. The TiVo Stream 4K also includes a free subscription to TiVo’s streaming service, which includes several channels that you won’t find on other streaming devices.
daddydaycare –
The Tivo streamer is slightly boxy but makes up for it with the added ability to connect a USB drive via its included USB C port. It has a small and comfortable remote with a number pad which is a rarity in the streaming world. There are ways to use the device purely as a Android TV puck. One major set back is a bug in Tivo’s own software causing a dreaded “black screen” issue which can only be resolved thru a manual reboot via power plug pull. There is a hack that addresses this issue but disabling some core Tivo servies but youe average consumer wont know how or where to look. Until Tivo fixes this issue, I recommend pickup up an Google TV chromecast that is in the same price range.

After 7 months and few use the tv box suddenly starts on a continuous loop of rebooting. The support center try to help, but at the end is a issue with the equipment, the solution proposed… nicely recommend me to buy a new one :'(

I have been using the other Stick for a very long time, I decided to try this tivo stick, I like the setup and the user display. But it lags too much and as of lately I have to constantly reboot almost everyday because of video playback being distorted and picture size zoomed out…I’ve tried updating but it says its up to date every time…Going back to the other stick…

Works perfectly for what I need it for. Small and a fair price

The TiVo Stream 4K is a streaming device that runs on Android TV and offers access to thousands of apps and services. It supports 4K resolution, HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and Dolby Atmos. It also has a voice-enabled remote that works with Google Assistant and a TiVo app that aggregates content from different sources, including live TV from Sling TV and Locast.
Some of the pros of the TiVo Stream 4K are:
• It is affordable, costing only $24.99.
• It has a speedy performance and streams high-quality video.
• It supports external storage and peripherals via USB-C port.
• It has a remote that offers easy access to live TV channels.
Some of the cons of the TiVo Stream 4K are:
• It has a limited live TV offering, as it only works with Sling TV and Locast.
• It has poor recommendations based on your viewing habits.
• It has a cluttered remote and an interface that is not as sleek as competitors.
• It does not support Apple TV app.

Great device for price point. Better than any Roku device and faster.
SaraK –
We have 3 TiVo sticks! And we really like them. They work well.
JustinM –
The operating system on this is very nice but the control is absolutely awful. I’ve had it for less than a month and it’s unpaired at least three times and is extremely difficult to get it to pair up again. I do not recommend this product
stPete –
This is a nice product with no monthly recurring charges to consolidate all your streaming subscription in one interface and have a guide similar to cable if you cut the cord. You can search for any show and it will look across all your subscriptions for it and link you to it so you don’t have to try to remember what platform it was in and log into multiple subscriptions to check.
TimM –
I’ve got 3 of these – 1 for each TV. Great guide and app capabilities. Great remote control. Interfaces very well with TV and sound system. Excellent for YouTube TV.
Quasa –
This was what i was looking, easy set up. Love it and i will buy more
ValerieL –
Great for streaming from multiple sites, but sometimes has to restart for hulu
Jayn –
Love this! Was super easy to set up, brought over all my stuff from google. Sign is was easy to all the apps.
PupJoystick –
Surprisingly a wonderful device. This has become our new streaming device. Love the freetv options that TiVo collects and lets you use under its interface. And that it can see everything across all the apps is a brilliant idea.
Dave –
This device allows me to install USB-C drive and view movies off thumb drive, as well as all the regular streaming services. Add VLC Android app to device to play movies & videos off thumb drive.
Barbara –
I have been using a TiVo Premiere Pro DVR for several years. Now that we are adding Streaming Service, the TiVo Stream 4K Remote was the logical choice. It was easy to install and works much the same way. Except for Netflix, few streaming services have it in their list of devices to link to their service.
