    Bought this portable DVD player for travel for my son. Screen adequate size. Simple controls. Worked very well with good picture and sound. Does not play Blu-Ray DVDs. Would have had to spend a lot more for that.

    Easy to use. I can sit in my bed and watch . Sister had one she used while riding on the bus to NYC. So I had to replace former one. This on runs on batteries, take anywhere!

    This was purchased as a gift. I have not had a chance to see how good it really is, but it was on sale and you can’t beat the price. These are starting to get harder to find. It’s nice that it could be used for traveling and camping, or simply used in another room.

    Scratchy sound came through the speakers despite headphones being plugged into the unit. Item was thus returned for a refund. DVD cover had to be slammed down on the unit to keep it from re-opening.

    The insignia portable 10” dvd player works well. It comes with a variety of features such as a mini remote, fast fwd, fast backward, restart at spot where last left off, clear and vivid screen, good volume control, approx 2-2.5hr battery, turnable and flat back options for viewing things at different angles and several other items. The biggest drawback is the device typically only last a yr. Nonetheless, the price point when the device is on sale usually makes for a good buy. I would recommend the product.

    Functions as advertised. No option for USB A power supply – 110 volt ac input to 9-12v dc output only. Must use headphones with TRS jack (not TRRS or non-microphone enabled required) or sound will emanate from the unit and the headphones. Will not play CD-ROM discs.
