    Great product with robust surge protection.

    I purchased this to protect my 77″ OLED Sony TV from power spikes (common here in Florida) that can ‘fry’ expensive electronics. Using it to also protect DVD recorder, amplifier and related equipment.

    Has six surge-protected outlets/receptacles, coaxial cable protection and two USB ports for charging other devices.

    Solid piece of gear that so far has done its job. Only 6 outlets which kind of sucks but they are decently spaced to accomidate bigger and blockier plugs. Pricey but the guarantee might make it worth it but hopefully will not have to try and collect. I had another surge protector that had a hole blow thru the bottom after a surge so went with this one based on reviews posted on BB site and specs from AudioQuest.

    Bought this device after a power surge killed my 4K TV. Not inexpensive but works great and protects my Sonos System, TV, Sub, amplifier and DVD and AppleTV. $200 investment to protect all of that equipment is cheap insurance.

    The AudioQuest – PowerQuest 6-Outlet surge protector seems built to last. But only time will tell. I mounted mine on the wall. Basically because of my cat. Four out of five stars because it is expensive. Seems to be working as expected.

    Looks nice, doesn’t cost a lot, appears to be working well.
    I’m coming from an old API wedge with isolation transformers. The AQ seems to offer better line filtering resulting in less noise.
    So, for the price and utility it gets five stars.

    Its more of a hybrid surge protector. Still has a few movs after the initial surge absorption. It will turn a high surge in to a much lower voltage and cut power when its over a certain voltage. Designer of this is the same person who worked on furmans smp surge protectors so basically the same design. The only thing this is missing is undervoltage protection where it cuts the power if voltage is to low.

    The unit has protected my electronics going on 4 years and through 3 hurricanes. In Florida, we have power outages and power fluctuations often due to the extreme weather and my surge protector has held up to it all. Should have this unit protecting your equipment….

    New Audioquest surge protector installed with my new SONY HT setup. I replaced my old MONSTER surge protector which had indicator lights and dials to show it was working which this protector does not have. I have only had it 2 weeks so I do not know if it is reliable long term but should I experience any spikes or outages, i will update. No pictures to provide since I failed to take pictures prior to the install behind the cabinet.
