I needed a power supply unit that could power the new 4090 I bought and more. This doesn’t disappoint.
King3Cheeks –
An absolute unit of a PSU for most computer builds 1300 watts is overkill especially for the GPU that I have , when looking to the future though we can see components becoming more power hungry and EVGA was here with the answer, 1300 watts is more than enough to power the highest end components and ensure they run safely with its great 80+ gold certified and modular cable set up , for those of you that require the 3×8 pcie connections EVGA has you covered here which was my main concern moving up from the Corsair rm850x
KFIVE78 –
Highly recommend this product. Performa very well without any issues!!
MatthewF –
This PSU is exactly what I need and was able to find it at two locations. I recommend this fully.
Helz –
Works like it should, I overclock so power stability and uniformity is a big deal, this monster does the trick. Would also make a good mining power supply I believe. It has a crazy amount of dedicated graphics power outs. No more rewiring plugs! Lul

9x 7200rpm drives, 1x 2080ti, 1x 2060 super, 1x epyc 7551

Just tons of power. You must be building a pc with multi gpu if you are even considering this. With a power hunger cpu as well. More watts than you will ever need.

Replaced my 1000W Vectroo (got it in April 2023) and it is already done. This PSU should last a lot longer since i never had a issue with it in the pass. Should’ve stuck with it b4 buying the other brand.

Excellent,..,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It works as advertised. The only “cons” in my opinion are that the cables, while certainly heavy-duty, are rather stiff and a bit unwieldy in a mid tower case. Otherwise it’s an excellent product so far.

This power supply really is a beast. It is powering a 13700K with 3090Ti, no issues at all. It is quite large but that is to be expected. The cables are a nice length and it is fully modular. Very quiet too.
Guera –
Faster and Better than we expected, super easy to use
ItsRiley –
Idk what would need 1300w of power but this thing is somewhat heavy
Be careful with putting it you pc case or you might break the button and switch on the front of it
BaileyG –
This power supply was everything i need plus more for my rig. I wouldnt recomend it for anything that needs 5.0 but for my 7900xtx its fantastic. The modular cables are of feceht quality so there isnt a worry in my mind of a future replacment. I have run i to zero issues since purchasing many months ago and am very satisfied with this purchase.
AhsanG –
It runs my pc perfectly and im running an i7 13700 with an rtx 4070 and my system has had no issues to date great power supply with room to grow. Make sure you use the cables that come with it.
Filledwithhate –
So far no issues. Wanted to make sure my pc had sufficient power and it’s been wonderful !
SgtCJ –
EVGA makes some of the highest quality PC components and this power supply is no different. With 1300W of power this supply is sufficient for top end builds, even though it’s “Gold” rated. This power supply will help to make my newset build future proof.
Peeshivers –
Great psu, only wish the cables it came with where better looking. It does include the adapter you will need for 40 series.
Saxman –
Easy to put in, and works as it should, completely comfortable with this running my 4090 build.
KennethG –
The most stable power I have ever had in a PC. With 6 case fans, 4 ssd, 2 sata drives, and large air cooler, I can watch the 12v and 5v rails never move more than .6 volts and 12.13v is the lowest I’ve ever seen.
Alain –
Plenty of power with low noise!
The build qiality on this think seems solid.
JosephW –
It’s big powerful cool looking and very quiet and silent when not under a heavy load. Way better than what I had. But I am here to complain about one dumb thing. All the ssd cables that come with it are 90 degree bent down. Which means when you mount the ssd flat down and in place, you can’t because the wires won’t let you. Why are they just not normal straight connections? So if that’s an issue for you go to Newegg and order the black Evga cables they sell that are just straight out of the connector
Rasta4Jah –
Bought this and it ended up burning out and stopping working within 30 days. Went to return to Best Buy 15 days after purchasing this, and the return window was only 14 days. Terrible experience and I will never buy expensive electronics from BB and only
Go through AMZN now on

My previous power supply was EVGA and served me well over the course of 10 good years. unfortunately, it recently kicked the bucket and I was able to purchase this with a price match from Amazon. I ended up with a $90 discount from retail price. It is not ATX 3.0, but that was not concerning to me.
Krenick –
Easy install, helped get my pc running as it should be.
Unknown –
Works and performs flawlessly. Best Buy for the price. See what I did there?!
LuisB –
A power beast!!! This is the psu I always use on my pc builds.
Timber –
Appears to work seemingly. Runs quiet. Able to handle both graphic cards.
JustinB –
First got it all installed to replace my old 1000 watt psu ran the new cables hooked it up to the mother board and cpu pins went to test it and watched my psu start smoking and motherboard started to smoke.. i returned it promptly after it cost me about $800 in damages to my components. Absolutely do not recommend.
Onliketron –
Got this in my PC set up that I built running a 13900KS and a 4090 all without a hitch with this power supply.
Marion –
Upgraded in anticipation of a future CPU, motherboard, and GPU change. Judging based off the power draw from my current setup and estimated powerdraw for the upgrades, I’m working with enough extra wattage to run a dual gpu.
Fits well inside a mid tower and came with all the needed cords plus extras.
Vicious628 –
Seemed like a good deal. Haven’t had a chance to install yet. Will update.
JohnR –
Working great and the cable connectors are set up nicely
Ed122 –
From the moment I picked this up, could tell by weight and construction was a quality product!- Great value for the build quality and power output.
Whether replacing a power supply or building one for a power user- hard to go wrong with this one- it delivers power to the people who need performance!
JackR –
Love the fact that the pcie cables ar3 flexible. Easy installation
Marcus –
Died on me after couple months use. Had to send back to EVGA to get replacement.
Kamren –
Works like a charm and was delivered quickly. Only took 2 days to get here. Which is great for alaska.
EricW –
Plenty of power for the biggest builds of today. Definitely no shortage of connections
LogitechH540 –
Excellent power supply for high end video cards like the 4090. I bought this because I needed 4 video connectors for my 4090 video. Very happy with this power supply.
IguanaAsesina –
Good quality! Well made! Cables are good for cable management. Sturdy cables.
Cole –
Had to get a new one because my old one kept restarting during gaming. So far no complaints a bit over kill but thats ok its for future upgrades is one of the reasons i got a wattage this high
SumeetS –
Needed the extra power for some other hardware that I was receiving and this is performing well!
GLDUDE –
Great PSU at a good cost point, eco mode switch option is nice as well
SuperCorsair –
A lot of power to dispose,I have an 7900X3D + 4090 and I’m generating close to 500 fps in MW3 so I need something like this to get to that point.
JeromeB –
Fully modular power supply with eco mode! The product is relatively large but still fits into my atx case without any issues. The cables arent braided but are still flexible snd high quality. I do wish the CPU cables were slightly longer but this is the case for almost every power supply out there. When using the unit, it is quiet, cool, and hasnt caused any crashes yet. I am using it to power my 13900k, 4 ram sticks, 4 drives, aio cooler, 4080, and almost maxed usbs (5 i think). I havent had any issues with power draw or ramp in the oast few months in regular and eco mode! Its a solid PSU
LilMutombo –
A juggernaut of a PSU (power supply unit, keep up) that actually is of reasonable size for its capabilities. It effectively doubled the weight of my computer when I added it to the case, so it’s a dense and heavy guy. It’s fully modular, so extra cables can be left out, making a much tidier and easier to clean build. Everything about this is high quality. Oh, did I mention that it’s very quiet? Because it is very very quiet. This is probably because even when I’m drawing as much power as possible the power supply isn’t even breaking a sweat. You’d be hard pressed to find a build that will stress the 1300.
This kind of power is usually only needed for the beefiest of the beefy graphics cards and gnarly CPUs, but you don’t buy a power supply for what you are doing with it now. You buy it with the long game in mind. A good power supply will last you upwards of ten years or more, so getting a high quality one will pay dividends. There are some things you can go cheap on in a computer build. NEVER GO CHEAP ON A POWER SUPPLY. You will get burned when you pinch pennies on a PSU, ask any seasoned computer geek or PC builder. This particular model has so much room to grow with your current build, and your next build, and the one after that. This is no exaggeration. The eggheads at EVGA do not prescribe to the idea of planned obsolescence. I plan on leaving this model to the person I love the most in my will.
But seriously. If you buy this, you won’t have to even think about power supplies for a good long while. I think we can all agree that’s what the world needs.

Solid and works w/o issue. EVGA rules. No issues, cabling is awesome
RogueTiger –
I got it for a good price but it was a little bigger than I expected. Works great!
NathanC –
Works perfectly in my newly built rig. Zero issues with setting it up.

I’ve only had this a little over a week. I wish BestBuy would wait a little longer, like a month or two, before asking for a review. However if I wait a while longer on my own, they keep sending me notifications to submit a review. So here it is…. it is working as expected. If I encounter problems later on I will try to resubmit a new evaluation.
