    Product works exactly as described. It let me connect my older dell VGA monitor to my Xbox with only HDMI. It also let me use audio with the included plug. No issues with it. It was a little harder than usual to screw on the VGA cable.

    This is used with the hyper – DUO 7-Port USB-C Hub – USB-C Docking Station for Apple MacBook Pro and Air – Gray and my wife’s new MacBook Pro 13″ M2 chip laptop. This connects the computer to a larger screen because she is on the computer all day.

    I’m not real techy, but this product has failed twice. My first item arrived on time in good condition. However, after 4 days, it quit. Checked all the cables, ports and monitor; all good. The disconnect must be in the adapter. Brought it my local Best Buy, they tested it and determined it had failed. Gave me a refund and ordered a new one on the spot. Great service! Got the replacement, connected, all is good…for about a week. Then, zero connection and everything else checked out. Do I bother making another return? Probably should, but, in the meantime, I’ll check other online sources.

    Ended up not needing this adapter. Computer video inputs were HDMI and DisplayPort. My generation used VGA. Oh, well.

    The product worked as described, had an old computer monitor that only have a DVI connection, plugged this into it and connected it to a Nintendo Switch and the screen came on and looked just as good as if the screen was made with an HDMI port.

    Quality was good, I just was never able to get the adaptor to work for my application. I tried supplying power as it stated in really fine print on a sticker and still no luck, it worked in a different application just not the intended one. Its collecting dust in a drawer for now

    Didn’t work with my Mac mini, which is the whole reason for its purchase. It does work with my Dell laptop. Not sure if it isn’t compatible with the Apple products or if there is an issue with the HDMI port on the Mac. I can’t say whether the problem is in the cable or my new Mac.
